Team Liquid went for an early fighting/pushing lineup with a jungler Enchantress and a roaming Tusk for Jesse 'Jerax' Vainikka, against Virtus.Pro's combined damage of Drow Ranger and Death Prophet. The game started with a five man smoke from TL who got an easy first blood before the horn and by the nine minute mark they were already established the map control taking down almost all VP towers.
Although Virtus.Pro had a real chance to turn around the game on the back of a won team fight at the 20 minute mark, the individual play of Jerax a few minutes later, interrupting three teleports allowed Liquid to take down the first lane of barracks. VP tried to salvage whatever they could but it was already too late and after another lost teamfight in the bottom lane they called out the GG.

This time around Virtus.Pro went with a pushing line-up while Liquid responded with a fighting draft holding great ultimates such as Exorcism, Supernova and Chronosphere, great spells to either start a team fight or to repeal an incoming push.
Mid lane took the spotlight in the early game with multiple heroes rotations for both teams to secure the lane dominance but in the end it was once more Team Liquid displaying better coordination. They forced VP to fight very early and came on top on most of the skirmishes. With the first Aegis secured for themselves,Team Liquid made the first high ground commitment and took down a full set of barracks. Although VP claimed the next Roshan spawn, they weren’t able to achieve any other objectives with it and after a few more lost team fights they had to defend against mega creeps which in the end triggered the GG call.
